Workshops and Teaching
Every student who wants to attend college should get the chance. For many under-served, low-income students, that takes guidance and support from educational non-profits. I use my writing and college counseling background to help these students improve their writing and get accepted to college. Learn more.
Journalism
My years as a professional journalist at The New York Times and elsewhere taught me to recognize a good story when I hear one. I bring a reporter and editor’s eye to my work as an essay coach and teacher. My students learn to use details and emotion to make their stories as compelling as they can be. Learn more.
